Public Notice is hereby given by the undersigned Director of the Fire Department in the Municipality of Otter Lake that as per our By-Law 07-03-2012 now until further notice open fires are permitted... Please note: if you are burning the regulation under the fire by-law mentioned, the pit must be no more than 30 in. (76.2 cm) wide in diameter and a maximum height of 18 in (45.72) cm. It must have a cover with a fire guard and the screen must not exceed 0.39 in (1 cm). The fire must be monitored at all the time.

The municipal office will be opening to the public as of Monday May 31st with the following restrictions:

  • Maximum of 1 citizen allowed in the office at one time, others will need to wait outside until the citizen leaves

  • Citizens must practice social distancing of 2 metres (6 feet) from other people when in the office and while waiting outside

  • Citizens are not to come to the office if they experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 or have been in contact with anyone that may have been infected

  • Only come to the office if it is essential, many questions and requests can be answered over the phone at 819-453-7049 or by going on our website www.otterlakequebec.ca

  • Office hours are from 8:30AM to 4:00PM Monday to Friday
